Godzilla vs Jurassic Park Pt 3

Previously: Captain Mako reached the mysterious island of Isla Sorna. His crew have managed to capture a few specimens, but one group however failed to complete their mission and their fate has been sealed on the island. The two remaining groups were left traumatized by their visit to the island and vowed never to visit again. The ship is currently heading back to Japan from the island. The two brilliant scientists are still locked up though, can they escape from their predicament?

"Dang it!" Dr. Akiko screamed as she punched the cage in a fit of rage. "Why did I have to show him the device? I knew what he was like, I just don't know why I-" Dr. Izanami cut her off as he sat in the corner, "It is not your fault, you cannot blame yourself." Dr. Akiko turned to him almost tearing up in her rage, "Yeah, I know but I just can't help it. If I hadn't shown him the device we wouldn't be in this mess." Dr. Izanami calmly replied, "Getting mad will not solve this problem. We must think of a way out of this." His words only rekindled the flames within her. "And just how do we do that?! We have no equipment, no gadgets, and hardly enough space in this blasted cage!" Dr. Izanami stood up, "That's where you're wrong. I don't ever go into anything unprepared." He reached into his lab coat and pulled out a pen. "A pen? You have a pen? What are you going to do with that, keep count of how many days we will be trapped in here?" Dr. Akiko said. "Better," he said, "Looks can be deceiving. Watch and learn." He said. He to the pen and and pushed the button. Then a small laser shot out from the pen and pierced the cage. He then proceeded to cut in a circular motion. The small portion of the cage wires fell to the ground. They clanged and sizzled as they were still hot. "Alright lets go!" Dr. Izanami said happily. "Dr. Izanami, you are a genius!" Akiko exclaimed. "Well I am the lead scientist." He said jokingly. She then gave him a kiss on the cheek and they carefully got through the hole. They then ran up to the blast doors and Dr. Izanami punched in the code for the doors to open.

When the doors opened, they were expecting to the the guards to be, well, guarding the door! Instead they were examining the lead chamber which contained the mutated monitor. They acted like children at the zoo, tapping the glass and teasing the behemoth. It snapped at them a couple times which they backed away out of reflex. "We need to sneak around them." Akiko whispered. "I know, lets lay low and stay behind the machinery." Izanami suggested. They crouched as low as they could to avoid being seen and ran past some devices and equipment. They were near the guards now but they wouldn't make it to the door without the guards noticing. So Dr. Izanami took his laser pen, aimed it at the back of the cell, and slowly began to cut through it.

The lizard picked up the slight vibrations going on in the back of his cell. He moved to the back and his tongue flicked, he sensed new heat signatures and then began to ram his prison. Dr. Izanami had cut a majority of it and it was weak enough for the reptile to break through. The lizard walked by the scientists, not caring for them, but for the guards because they had really ticked it off. The guards drew their weapons as the lizard came behind the cell, and past the panels. It hissed at them, ready to charge. The guards opened fire on the monitor with their machine guns, but the bullets just bounced off the lizards newly enhanced hide. The lizard was angered by their assault and darted towards them. The guards dropped their weapons and ran, but the lizard spit saliva at them which knocked them both down and stuck them to the floor. In addition, their bodies were going numb. The lizard approached them and finished them each with one bite. The guards lifeless bodies lied there as the monitor began to bite into them. The two scientists stood up, and as soon as they did the lizard turned to them and snarled. Dr. Izanami quickly pushed a button on one of the panels and the lizard stood stiff, then jerked, and toppled over and twitched slightly. "Thank God we placed the electron microchip into it's spine. That creature couldn't handle a little shock to it's system." Dr. Akiko said. "Yes, we would've been done for if it wasn't that. Now let's get out of here!" He said as they ran to the elevator. Just as they did, the doors opened, and the captain and his men walked in, all armed.

"Don't tell me you two were thinking about escaping. We still need you to help with the plan." He said with a smug grin. "Oh come here I'll-" Akiko said as Izanami restrained her. "Don't even think about it," Mako said, "I have a little project for you and Dr. Izanami." "What do you want with us?" Dr. Izanami questioned. "I have aquired a few specimens worthy of scientific testing. And I need you two to be the ones to experiment with them." Mako said. "And what if we say 'no'?" Akiko asked sneeringly. "Your options are be thrown into a prison on an island far off the coast where no one can find you, and physically and mentally tortured for the rest of your miserable lives or you can be shot on the spot. Your choice." Akiko gritted her teeth and hung her head shamefully, "Okay, we'll do it." She reluctantly murmured. "Good," Mako replied as he approached her and held up her chin, "I also have an entirely new lab for you to work in. I know you will like it." She pulled away and stared at him viscously. "Now all I need you to do is take your device and hand it over to our security." Akiko screamed out, "Never!" Mako looked at her with hate in his eyes and drew his pistol. "Unfortunately, that wasn't a question." The guards walked her over to the panels in front of the cell. She punched a series of buttons and then the small device descended from the cell and popped up in a slot near the panels. The Captain picked up the device, he thought it would be hot but the plates held back all radiation. "Now was that so hard?" he said which really angered the young scientist. "Lets get moving, we only have so much time before Gojira comes back to strike again." he said, his troops followed his order and took the scientists to the elevator.

Once the elevator reached the top floor the left the huge control room and left the base through the underground tunnel for vehicles just outside. The troops put them into their army vehicles and drove them to the entrance of the tunnel about a mile or two due east. Once they reached the entrance, two huge doors opened and they drove out. Now driving away from the base, they continued east to Osaka. It was took almost 3 hours to reach it. The troops were taking extra precaution with the scientists. Tying their hands and feet and blindfolding them, and holding tasers in their hands if they tried anything funny. Eventually they reached a military outpost just outside of Osaka. The place was almost impossibly heavily armed, with huge missile launchers, gigantic electric wires, and other large military weaponry. They must've been preparing for Gojira's next arrival in Japan. The troops stopped their vehicles, and led the scientists to a new, larger research facility which resembled a huge hospital.

The guards took them up a few floors, then into an gigantic lab which had to be the largest lab in history. It had to have been at least half a mile long. Their blindbolds and bindings were removed, and ahead of them they saw Captain Mako, along side him were enormous see through containers, each with different strengths to hold their captors. The scientists couldn't believe what was right before their eyes. A huge, sleeping Tyrannosaur, a 26 ft long Tylosaurus swimming around in a glass tank like a goldfish, and six living, breathing Velociraptors. Mako grinned, "Amazing isn't it? Creatures extinct over sixty-five million years, here in the current era." The scientists were awe struck. "How di.. when di.. bu.." the scientists stuttered. "That is classified," Mako replied, "but here is something else that's classified, no one knows about this installation, nor the technology, nor the creatures. If you are to let so much as one word slip out into the public, I will personally kill you myself. Got that?" They had no choice but to nod. "Good," he said. "Now all I need you to do is irradiate these things like you did the lizard back in Nagoya. "Wait, you want us to do what?" Akiko said surprised. "You heard me." Mako said. "But do you have any idea what these things could do?" The captain nodded, "I do, they can and will destroy the scourge of Japan, Gojira." The two scientists looked at Mako like he was a madman. "How are these things going to prevail against Gojira? Have you seen what he has done to other giant monsters?" Izanami asked. "You underestimate these creatures. They are intelligent, strong, merciless, tactical, and perfect predators." Mako replied. "We should study them, do you have any idea what these are?" Izanami said. "I do, they are ultimate killing machines." Mako replied. "No, you don't understand!" Akiko yelled, Mako then replied, "No, you don't understand. I've seen many battles in my lifetime, the death, the destruction, the fear. But nothing could compare to what Gojira can do in mere hours. I've invested my entire life into bringing him down. And I am not about to give up now. You will do as I say, or suffer the consequences." They both sighed. "According to our reports Gojira was spotted near the coast, chances are we have only 12 hours to complete this. You must mutate these creatures before he reaches shore. Your country depends on it." And with that the Captain left them alone with two guards outside the door. They wouldn't be able to get out through the windows due to how high they were. All they could do was what they had been assigned. There was a huge control panel in front of them and the containers were pretty far away from it for obvious reasons, a pre-installed slot for their device on top of the control panel, and 3 large tubes leading to each container. Everything was tranquilized except the mosasaur, in order to keep them under control they would have to install a small electronic control device on the reptiles. Mako had already planned this ahead and had his own scientists create them for them.

Akiko entered the raptor cage through an automatic lead door, she was extremely nervous. Wondering when they would wake up, and considering how large they were they could easily kill her. She new that as pack hunters they would play a game of follow the leader so she searched for the lead female. Which wasn't hard as the leader of the pack was the largest one out of them all. She stepped over the other raptors surrounding the lead female which was in the center of the group. She stepped on ones tail which made it yelp, which scared the ghost out of Akiko. When she had gotten past the others she carefully placed it back of the raptors neck. When it was in place, it made a popping noise that signaled it was secure. She sighed, but just as she was preparing to leave a raptor to her left moved. She slightly squealed and put her hands over her mouth. The raptor was still unconscious. Probably having a bad dream. Akiko quickly stepped over them and left through the door, which then locked automatically.

Izanami remained as calm as possible as he entered the tyrannosaurs containment unit. The tyrannosaurus's breathing echoed through his soul. As he drew nearer to the giant his heart raced even more. He had been near reptiles, but nothing near this big nor frightening. He approached the dinosaurs head and placed the device just behind the dinosaurs ear, which also popped that signaled its secureness. Once he did this he slowly crept away out of the doors which also locked. He let out a huge sigh of relief. Then it came down to the mosasaur which was not tranquilized. It became apparent that neither of them were going in that tank. They wouldn't survive, all they could do was hope the mosasaur would not cause to much public damage. They both were worried about the effects this would have on Japan, but they didn't have much of a choice.

So they went behind the control panel and place the device into the slot. Then a lead dome covered the device so the radiation would feed through the tubes. They then punched some buttons to start the device and set the levels of the radiation. They would have to exceed what they had done last time otherwise the reptiles wouldn't be large enough. The radiation levels this time were up to 70%. "Activation radiation now," Izanami said, "Cross your fingers." He then pulled a lever which activated the device. The machine blooped and beeped, and the metallic plates opened. The radiation went into each containment unit. The water in the aqua tank bubbled and sizzled, and you could hear the mosasaur roaring out in pain. It shook and turned and twisted as if to try to shake it off, but then slowly sunk to the bottom as the bubbles filled the tank to the point that you could not see the mosasaur. The raptors finally awakened and felt the heat and what was happening. They were still weak from there sleep though and bellowed out and hissed in agony. The trex opened it's eyes and tried to get up, but the heat wore it down. It roared out as loud as it could before finally going unconscious once more. "Deactivating radiation now!" Dr. Izanami said. The noises in the machine slowly died as it powered down. The reptiles were all unconscious for a good 10 minutes. The scientists themselves wondered if they had survived. These were an entirely different species than what they had worked with before. They were uncertain. After waiting for half an hour the scientists began to give up, and sighed in defeat. Mako was going to kill them, they thought to themselves. Then they heard what sounded like glass scratching.

One of the raptors, the lead female, had it's claws on the container and clawed down as it began mutating. It's claws got sharper and longer, spikes grew out from it's back which was it's spine, a sharp bone shot out of the back of it's tail and other spike-like bones branched from the tail, the quills on it's head thickened and grew out, bone spikes protruded from it's elbows and legs, its teeth elongated, and it grew massive as did the rest of it's pack. The T-rex's tiny arms became longer, thicker, and more muscular, and a third, but small claw popped out, it's short, broad snout elongated, it's teeth and claws thickened and grew out, two wide, long crests at the end of each jaw popped out, it's round pupil became slit in four directions like a compass, it's yellow eyes turned blood red and it grew much larger than the raptors. You couldn't make out what was going on inside the mosasaur take due to the bubbles, but the glass cracked and they heard a blood curdling roar. As the dinosaurs grew and mutated they broke through the building and the ceiling collapsed. The scientists ran out the doors, but not before grabbing the control devices. The guards were already gone after hearing what was going on. With nothing stopping them, they bolted down the stairs as fast as they could. The prehistoric nightmares broke through the side of the building, and were panting and studying their new features. The mosasaurs body grew to spectacular lengths. It's teeth were now fang-like, several spines protruded from its sides, a large shark-like fin was now on it's back, bony lumps surrounded it's eye, and several spines ran down it's back.

Almost immediately the dinosaurs began to size each other up for a fight. But right as they did, the scientists activated their devices. The mutants eyes widened and they calmed down. The mosasaur however, wanted to get away for there was no water, and began to push itself away from the outpost on it's enormous fins. The electric wires couldn't harm it due to it's thick hide. The military did not shoot. Instead, a truck hauling a large load of fish attracted it. Apparently Mako had seen ahead that they would not be able to control it. The mosasaur pushed itself as fast as it could with it's fins towards the truck. After an hours worth of chase they reached the bay. The drivers of the truck headed right for the water, and jumped out right before the truck landed in the bay. The mosasaur slid into the water and bit into the truck and ate the fish. From there it descended into the depths, unknowingly right towards Godzilla. The T-rex turned it's attention away from the raptors, and the lead female did the same, so the other raptors did not fight. Captain Mako approached the scientists. "I'll be taking that." he said as he snatched the device out of their hands. "Now that you have your monsters, what are you going to do?" Akiko asked. Mako grinned, "This!" he said as he drew his pistol and shot Dr. Izanami in the leg. Izanami screamed out in pain as he held his leg. Akiko gasped in shock, "Dr. Izanami!" She screamed, she looked at Mako in disgust, "I should have known you would have done this. I never should have trusted you." She said. "Very true, you see my dear Akiko, it's all about playing your cards right. And you made the mistake pf showing me your hand." This angered her and she tried to hit him. To which he grabbed her wrist and held her arm behind her back. "It's over!" he said as he then struck her in the back of the head and knocked her unconscious and let her fall to the ground. "I can't have you two interfering with my plan, goodbye scientists." He said as he aimed his pistol at them both...

Dark clouds formed over Japan and it began to rain. Thunder boomed and lighting struck the ground. The mutated tyrannosaurus' eyes glowed red and it breathed fire into the sky as it roared in rage at the storm.
